What is Free Wash Wednesday?
Free Wash Wednesday is a community initiative created by Superior Surface Cleaning to give back to the Waikato community that has supported us since the beginning. It's our way of offering a helping hand to those who could benefit from it by providing one complimentary exterior cleaning service for their property, completely free of charge.
Why we started it
We understand that not everyone is in a position to maintain the exterior of their property. This may be due to age, health issues, disability, financial hardship, or simply going through a difficult time.
Free Wash Wednesday is our way of giving back to the Waikato community and supporting those who could benefit from a helping hand. Our goal is to make a positive difference—not only to the appearance of a property, but also to the people who call it home.
This initiative is funded entirely by Superior Surface Cleaning. There are no hidden costs, no sponsors, and no obligations—just our commitment to giving back to the community that has supported us.
Who can be nominated?
Anyone who could benefit from a helping hand can be nominated for Free Wash Wednesday. This includes friends, family members, neighbours, or even yourself.
We're looking to support individuals and families throughout the Waikato who may be facing challenges that make maintaining their property's exterior more difficult, whether due to age, disability, health, financial hardship, or other circumstances.
Residential properties within approximately 30km of Hamilton are eligible.
How it works
Each selected Free Wash Wednesday recipient can choose one complimentary exterior cleaning service for their property. This may include an exterior house wash, driveway cleaning, deck cleaning, fence cleaning, path cleaning, or another eligible exterior surface.
To help as many people as possible, selected properties must be reasonably accessible, safe to work on, and suitable to be completed within up to four hours on site. Roof cleaning, roof treatments, and internal gutter cleaning are not included as part of the initiative.
How to nominate
Nominations are welcome throughout the year. Simply complete the nomination form with details about the person you're nominating and why you believe they could benefit from Free Wash Wednesday.
While we'd love to help everyone, recipients are selected at our discretion based on the nominations received. As this initiative is fully funded by Superior Surface Cleaning, we're unfortunately unable to select every nomination.

Free Wash Wednesday is about more than just cleaning homes; it’s about giving back, building community spirit, and offering a helping hand when it's needed most.
We have no expectation for recipients to become customers or promote our business.
